Position Overview

Carolina Eastern, South Carolina’s largest fertilizer company with more than $100 million in annual sales, is expanding its Turf and Ornamental Division throughout the Southeastern United States. The company manufactures, distributes, and applies fertilizer, soil amendments, chemicals, and seed for the turf, ornamental, and agricultural industries. We are seeking a motivated and driven Regional Accounts Manager to develop new business opportunities and build lasting customer relationships. 

Salary Range

$65,000 – $175,000+ annually
Compensation is based on experience and includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based commission. Total earnings vary depending on individual performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed annual territory goals and objectives
• Identify and develop new market opportunities
• Create and maintain marketing programs that promote company products and services
• Coordinate and manage sales activities within assigned territory
• Develop, maintain, and grow customer relationships
• Expand and support existing accounts while generating new business opportunities 

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pesticides and fertilizers and their use by:
  • Golf Course Superintendents
  • Lawn Care Operators (LCOs)
  • Sports Turf Managers
  • Nursery Managers
• Strong planning, presentation, and organizational skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Previous Green Industry sales experience preferred
• Ability to travel occasionally overnight
• Self-motivated with a strong customer-focused approach
