Company Overview: Founded in 2010, Green Tee Golf, Inc. is a golf course construction and renovation contractor headquartered in Augusta, GA.

Our client base is spread throughout the Southeastern United States, including GA, NC, SC, TN, KY, and FL. Most of our projects are in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We are looking for an exemplary, hardworking, adaptable, highly detailed, and driven Project Supervisor who is motivated and willing to learn our methodology and processes to expand our team.


Job Description: The on-site Project Supervisor is the primary point of contact for the project. They are expected to understand the scope and timeline of the work to be completed and communicate with multiple parties to execute the project to the highest standard. Three key skills or abilities a Project Manager should possess: communication, leadership, and organization. General work hours are Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, with weekends as needed (average work hours of 50-60 hours per week in peak season). The rate for this position is a salary of $65,000-$90,000/year, depending on experience, with housing provided. A vehicle allowance is negotiable.


Requirements/Experience Needed:

    Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project manager or relevant supervisor role is preferred.

    Plan project startup/mobilization in conjunction with Project Managers/Pre-Project Coordinator, Logistics & Equipment Coordinators, and Clients.

    Manage a crew of 10-40 employees as needed.

    Coordinate and schedule all phases of a project on a daily, weekly, and monthly level to ensure project is completed in accordance with previously determined timeline.

    Maintain a professional appearance and communicate professionally (both written and verbally).

    Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe manner.

    Coordinate equipment repairs and facilitate regular equipment maintenance.

    Effectively and professionally communicate with all parties involved with project (both internal and external).

    Complete all administrative duties in a timely manner (billing, time-sheets, daily progress reports, equipment rental, material purchasing, change orders).

    Review contract documents and discuss design specifics with architects, superintendents, owners, etc.

    Understand the scope of work and what is needed to complete projects in accordance with previously determined timelines.

    Order, track, and manage stockpiles of material.

    Ensure all “punch-list” items are completed and meet or exceed clients’ expectations prior to demobilization.

    Quality Control: ensure all tasks are performed with an extreme attention to detail and meet Green Tee Golf’s standards.

    Travel between job sites as needed. 

    Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus but not necessary.

    Assist with labor tasks as necessary.

    o    Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

    o    Stand and work outside in all seasons and weather conditions.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Broad knowledge of golf course construction/renovation processes

    o    Feature construction: Tees, Greens, Bunkers

    o    Irrigation

    o    Sod Installation

    o    Surveying/Staking/Layout

    o    Earthwork

    o    Drainage

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

    Equipment Knowledge

    o    Broad knowledge/ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment including, but not limited to:

        ï‚§    Sod Cutters, Plate Compactors, Jumping Jacks, and Other Miscellaneous Small Engines

        ï‚§    Farm Tractors

        ï‚§    Skid Steers

        ï‚§    Front End Loaders

        ï‚§    Excavators

        ï‚§    Utility Vehicles

        ï‚§    Trenchers

    Delegation/Crew Management

    o    Ability to plan and assign work to crew leaders

    o    Ensure milestones and deadlines are met on time

    o    Adapt and react to changes in scope and timeline

    o    Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail

    o    Continuously review plan, adapt, and make changes in order to adhere to timeline
