Position Overview

Sea Pines Country Club is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead all aspects of golf course maintenance and management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a Head Golf Course Superintendent and a proven track record in golf course operations, leadership, budgeting, and agronomic management. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all golf course maintenance operations and agronomic programs.
• Conduct and participate in committee, Board, and member meetings.
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and report directly to the General Manager/COO, Chris Signore.  
• Ensure compliance with pesticide regulations and maintain required certifications.
• Manage and oversee irrigation systems and infrastructure.
• Support golf course construction, renovation, and grow-in projects. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Golf Course Superintendent.
• Strong background in budgeting, staff leadership, and member relations.
• Experience with committee and Board communications.
• Experience with golf course construction, grow-ins, and irrigation installation.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
