TPC Piper Glen is a premier private country club and a proud member of the Invited family. As a designated TPC facility, our club features a legendary 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed championship course. We are seeking a passionate, forward-thinking leader to maintain our elite standards and elevate our property each and every day.

About the Role
As the Golf Course Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind the daily care and conditioning of the golf course. In this role, you will act as a key team leader, motivator, and mentor to up-and-coming turf professionals. Working closely under the Director of Grounds, you will ensure the property's agronomic direction is successfully executed. You will lead a dedicated agronomy team, directly contributing to the long-term success of the club and the development of its staff.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee turf health by managing precise nutrition, disease prevention, and cultural practices.
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated crew, including assistant superintendents, mechanics, and greenskeepers.
  • Manage modern technology including equipment GPS tracking, online job boards, and digital record-keeping.
  • Direct chemical applications and fertilizer programs while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
  • Develop operational plans to execute short- and long-term course enhancements and landscaping projects.
  • Foster career growth by mentoring assistant superintendents and crew members into future industry leaders.

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience serving as a Head Golf Course Superintendent.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Assistant Superintendent role.
  • Degree in Turf Management or Agronomy
  • North Carolina pesticide license, or the ability to quickly obtain one via reciprocity.
  • Transition zone expertise in managing warm-season grasses, specifically Bermuda varieties.
  • A hands-on working mentor who leads by example and builds a positive, safety-first culture.
