Timberlake Country Club is seeking an experienced, motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead agronomic operations at one of South Carolina’s most scenic and rapidly improving golf destinations.

Position Overview

The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the overall maintenance, conditioning, and presentation of the golf course and practice facilities, ensuring championship‑level playing conditions while preserving the natural beauty of the Lake Murray shoreline.

This is a leadership role requiring strong agronomic expertise, team management skills, environmental stewardship, and collaboration with club leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of golf course and grounds maintenance
• Develop and execute agronomic programs for turf health, irrigation, drainage, and sustainability
• Prepare the course for daily member play, tournaments, and special events
• Supervise, train, and motivate grounds staff
• Manage labor, equipment, chemicals, and maintenance budgets
• Maintain accurate records related to agronomy, compliance, and safety
• Collaborate with golf operations, clubhouse leadership, and ownership to achieve club goals
