Dail golf is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent at Crooked Tree Golf Club in Brown Summit, NC. Located just outside Greensboro NC, this is an 18-Hole Public course par 72 with a length of 6556 yds and has 9 water features and 36 sand bunkers. The fairways are well groomed, and the property is gentle sloping land indicative of the Piedmont area of NC. The greens are Bentgrass with the front nine being smaller and the back nine being larger in area. Crooked Tree offers a driving range, practice green, scenic clubhouse to make for a great place to play and practice for all skill levels of golfer.

The Superintendent will oversee the all aspects of the golf course maintenance these duties are but not limited to.

• Managing Bentgrass Greens
• Pesticide/Fertility applications
• Assigning and implementing daily jobs for crew members
• Monitoring the irrigation of the course
• Daily golf course setup
• Communicating with management on course needs and planned maintenance
• Tournament and outing setup for the course
• Working with Pro Shop staff to ensure player enjoyment
• Keep the golf course well groomed and ready for play everyday

Crooked Tree is open year round, owns its carts and equipment for maintenance. The superintendent will be under the supervision and guidance of Dail Golf and Agronomics which has over 35yrs in golf maintenance and course operations. Dail Golf has other courses in the area that we manage and operate.

Requirements needed

• Two years minimum golf course management
• Valid NC pesticide license
• Highly motivated work ethic

Salary

62,000 to 70,000 per year
