Furman University Golf Club is currently looking to fill the superintendent position.  Our current Superintendent, Paul Brandenburg, is retiring in June 2025 and we are looking to replace him with someone beginning around May 1. 

The Furman University Golf Club is one of the Upstate's premier daily fee facilities. The putting greens are Champion ultradwarf bermudagrass while tees and fairways are mostly 419 bermuda with some tees being zoysia grass. The REK practice facility has 4 additional Champion greens and one bentgrass practice putting green. The irrigation system is brand new: a Toro 2-Wire system installed in spring of 2024 with all Toro Infinity sprinkler heads. Our equipment fleet is mainly Toro.
