Golf Course Spray Technician

Position Summary

Linville Golf Club is seeking a Golf Course Spray Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for the application of turfgrass chemicals and assisting with general grounds maintenance to uphold the high standards of the golf course.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides safely and accurately
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal chemical handling and application regulations
  • Mix, calibrate, and operate spray equipment and other turf maintenance machinery
  • Maintain accurate daily records of all chemical applications
  • Assist with general grounds and turf maintenance activities
  • Perform work safely in various outdoor and weather conditions
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Required: North Carolina Pesticide Applicator’s License
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Strong knowledge of turfgrass management practices
  • Experience with equipment operation and calibration
  • Ability to understand and follow chemical safety regulations and storage requirements
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Compensation

  • Wage Range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
