Raleigh Golf Association, one of the oldest public golf courses in the state, has just finished a $3.5 million renovation. This project featured a fully redesigned course, enhancing playability and course conditions. To support ongoing quality, the course has also added a brand-new fleet of John Deere equipment. The Raleigh Golf Association is managed under a lease by McConnell Golf, ensuring that it continues to provide a great golfing experience for everyone.
General Responsibilities:
- Insect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in all golf course equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance work on all equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Keep all mowing equipment operable and properly sharpened for high-quality cuts.
- Showcase expert reel grinding skills to maintain consistent cutting performance.
- Maintain the shop working area in a neat, orderly fashion while observing safety and compliance laws.
- Possess knowledge of small equipment repairs including string trimmers, flymo, push mowers, and small engines.
- Organize service records and repair logs diligently.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the golf course.
Tools will be supplied by Raleigh Golf Association.
Entry Level: 2 to 3 years' experience required.
