Rocky River Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course located in Concord, NC next to Charlotte Motor Speedway. We are seeking a hard working, reliable and motivated Equipment Manager to join our team. This position plays a vital role in our team maintaining the golf course efficiently and to the high standards we expect.

Job Description

The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventative care for all golf course maintenance equipment. This individual will manage the parts inventory, service records, and work closely with the golf course superintendent to run the most efficient operation possible.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Set up all mowers on a daily basis
• Diagnose and repair all golf course equipment including hydraulics, engines, electrical, welding and fabrication
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining all parts inventory
• Implement a preventative maintenance schedule
• Keep accurate records of all preventative maintenance
• Train staff on proper equipment operation and daily equipment maintenance checks
• Be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in golf course setting
• Self-motivated and ability to prioritize equipment needs in the field
• Ability to grind and set up reels and bedknives
• Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines as well as hydraulics
• Organizational skills and the ability to communicate with team members
• Welding and fabrication are a plus
• Valid drivers' license
