Brier Creek Country Club is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Equipment Manager to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team. Position Summary

The Equipment Manager is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventive care of all golf course maintenance equipment. This individual will oversee the equipment maintenance facility, manage parts inventory, maintain service records, and work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to support daily operations and long-term equipment planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, sprayers, spreaders, and specialty turf equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Manage parts inventory and order replacement parts as needed.
• Perform hydraulic, electrical, welding, fabrication, engine, and diagnostic repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment maintenance facility.
• Train staff on proper equipment operation and daily maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and maintain relationships with equipment vendors and service providers.
• Assist with equipment replacement planning and capital equipment recommendations.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in golf course, turfgrass, agricultural, or heavy equipment operations.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and computerized diagnostics.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license required.
