Specifically related to the Position:
- Lead a team to provide a culture of quality, success, vision, and genuine hospitality
- Supervise the staff and delegate specific tasks and responsibilities
- Direct all maintenance activities for all components
- Instruct and train equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment
- Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps and irrigation/drainage systems
- Provide vision for long-term capital improvements
- Operate multiple types of equipment as needed
- Direct all personnel management and evaluation
- Monitor and ensure ongoing safety compliance
- Maintain proper record keeping
- Hold a Certified Pesticide Applicator’s License
- Monitor inventory of fertilizer/pesticides, irrigation parts, safety apparel, and other related supplies
- Solve problems and navigate complex variable situations
- Be detail-oriented, task-driven, and have a sharp eye for improving course quality
- Communicate effectively with clubhouse and operations teams
- Maintain a high degree of visibility and guest engagement
- Possess mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate strong irrigation background
- Have experience with both ultradwarf Bermudagrass and bentgrass surfaces
Position Details
Education, Knowledge, Training:
- 5+ years of golf course maintenance experience
- 2- or 4-year degree in Agronomy, Turf Management, or related field
Position Benefits:
- Full-Time, Salaried Position ($90,000 – $115,000 DOE)
