The Surf Golf & Beach club is a George Cobb design, opened for play in 1960. Later was renovated by John Lafloy in 1996 and in 2016. We are an 18-hole Private golf course. The course has Champion Bermuda grass greens and 419 Bermuda fairways, tees, and rough. It's our goal to provide excellent playing conditions for our members while working a reasonable number of hours each week. Yes, there will be times when we work late, for example topdressing, aerifying, or preparing for a tournament. 

The club has a new HDPE Toro irrigation lynx system. With 4 Smart hubs. Two new pump stations and two deep wells on property for irrigation use. The club has approved for a capital renovation starting in the summer of 2027. It will consist of greens, bunkers, tees and practice facility. We are currently in a club house renovation with a new campus style design being built in place of our old club house. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 2 years of golf course experience. 
• Must have a working knowledge of irrigation systems and ability to troubleshoot and make basic repairs. 
• Prior private club experience preferred. 
• Candidate shall be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. 
• Candidate should also understand and enjoy playing the game of golf. 
• Candidate needs to have the ability to multitask, motivate team members, have basic mechanical aptitude, 
• Already have or the ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days of employment.
