Reynolds Park Golf Course is an 85-year-old Perry Maxwell design, with Ellis Maples influence on several holes. Located adjacent to downtown Winston-Salem; it's a very scenic, rolling layout with a distinct links look. The greens were renovated in 2012 to Diamond Zoysia surfaces, fairways and tees are 419/common Bermuda, and there have been some Zoysia tees added.
Reynolds Park Golf Course is currently looking for an Assistant Superintendent in Grounds Maintenance. We are looking for someone willing to take the next steps in their turfgrass career with a very laid-back management group that takes pride in their work and understands work/life balance. The position is full time (40-45 hours per week), with a rotating weekend schedule. This is a perfect opportunity to advance experience and knowledge in comfortable, but hard working, environment. The ideal candidate is someone that has a passion for the industry, and an appreciation for "old school" layouts and values. It's also an opportunity to learn under a very experienced equipment manager and gain invaluable experience with fleet maintenance.
Requirements:
- Positive, willing attitude
- Turfgrass experience
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license
- Turf degrees not required, but considered
