The Country Club of Johnston County is located right off HWY 95 between Four Oaks and Smithfield. We are looking someone to fill the position of assistant superintendent on our staff. This is a great opportunity for someone finishing turf school and eager to learn. The course is going through several major changes with large plans for course renovation in the near future which will provide great experience opportunities

The course was designed by Ellis Maples and has a terrific layout. Greens are tiffdwarf Bermuda, tees and fairways are wall to wall 419.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Course setup
• Help with application of fertilizers, fungicides, and herbicides
• Serve as a supervisor role in the absents of the superintendent
• Knowledge and ability of all mowing practices
• Irrigation repair
• Willingness to work every other weekend
• Many other duties associated with the role of assistant superintendent
